flexible on hours (7-3, 8-4, 9-5)

The focus of this role will be learning analytical techniques, analyzing samples, and documenting results in lab notebooks, memos, and reports. The candidates will be trained and supervised by more senior colleagues but are expected to be able to eventually work somewhat independently.

The formulation scientist will be responsible for:

  • Executing particle analysis techniques, including light obscuration (HIAC), microflow imaging (MFI), and resistive pulse sensing (Coulter principle, Spectradyne) with the potential to learn additional particle analysis technologies such as laser diffraction and resonant mass measurement
  • Analyzing biotherapeutic development samples using additional techniques such as HPLC, UV spectroscopy, and capillary electrophoresis
Candidates should possess:
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs and test method descriptions
  • A scientific degree background
  • Experience with testing biological molecules is preferred but not required
  • Years of Experience 0-3
  • Obtain samples, analyze, check data, record and return.
  • Experience with electronic notebooks, Labware, LIMS
  • Bachelor's degree in a science field (biology/biochemistry, chemistry/chemical engineering, or similar topics)
