  Job Description

8-16 hours per week, 12 months to start
Possibility for temp to perm

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services to employees within their regulated scope of practice and disability/absentee leave management
  • Provide occupational and non-occupational injury response, evaluation and treatment care
  • Coordinate clinical operations, including medical surveillance, OSHA recordkeeping, facility operations and patient care activities such as episodic or emergency visits, first aid, and other activities as needed
  • Provides preventive medicine and wellness services/counseling; supports site health promotion and disease prevention programs
  • Documents patient data in an electronic medical database(s), as per standard protocols
  • Manage Medical Leaves (STD, FMLA, ADA) by tracking claims and communicate case status to employees, supervisors/managers, hrSource, Human Resources, and healthcare providers
  • Coordinate worksite evaluations, job descriptions/demands, and RTW restrictions
  • Manage remote site activities

Experience/Education:
  • BA/BS in nursing degree and current RN license in New York State
  • Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice Registered Nursing
  • New York APRN Board Certification
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an occupational nursing professional
  • Experience in acute episodic care, wellness care and counseling of adults
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic medical record keeping systems desirable
  • BLS certification required
