  Job Description

  • Manages operational efficiency for the clinical research business by understanding the business model, demonstrated ability to work across the systems and processes that are required to support the clinical development program for the Research Unit.
  • Provides administrative support to the Sr. VP of Early Oncology Development and Clinical Research.
  • Responsible to provide administrative support to the Sr. VP of Early Oncology Development and Clinical Research
  • Responsible for leading organizational projects that support the clinical research team
  • Responsible for contributing to the organizational planning and execution
  • Responsible for leading implementation operational initiatives in support of support clinical research
  • Responsible for leading improvement of operational systems, processes and policies to increase overall operational efficiency within budget and according to plan
  • Responsible to increase the efficiency of support services through improvements
  • Lead efforts to partner with other groups to implement initiatives
  • Identify and lead projects that contribute to operational excellence
  • Ensure alignment of Administrative clinical function across the department and global alignment across multiple sites
  • Responsible for the growth and development of clinical research Administrative team members
  • Responsible for adherence to ICH/GCP and SOP compliance
  • Requires demonstrated experience in the infrastructure of systems and processes that support clinical development
  • BA/BS and demonstrated experience in the drug development area
  • Strong communicator and demonstrated organizational effectiveness
  • Organizational Agility – knowledge about how organizations work across large companies/pharma; knows how to get things done through formal and informal channels and informal networks; understands the cultures of organizations

  • 10 yrs as Executive Administrative professional
  • Bachelor’s degree required extension possible for the right candidate
  • Pharma experience preferred, but not a requirement
