  Job Description

Contract Materials Handler who will ensure the control and movement of inventory in a Manufacturing environment. Material needed for builds is on hand and controlled when and where it is required. Other duties include cycle counting, performing system transactions and assisting in shipping and receiving functions.
 
 Job Responsibilities:

  •  Monitors and maintains current inventory levels
  •  Complete cycle counts & reconcile variances
  •  Unload/load inbound and outbound shipments
  •  Performs system transactions when required
  •  Assists in scheduling 3PL inbound and outbound shipments
  •  Assist in physical Inventory activities and reconciliation
  •  Keep all materials identified and stored properly
  •  Other duties as assigned
  •  Ensure FIFO is followed
  •  Maintains the warehouse in an organized manner
  •  Assists in scheduling outbound production shipment pickups
  •  Assist in completing Purchase Order receipts
  •  Performs material put-away upon receipt
  •  Notifies supervisor on any inventory problem areas
  •  Issues material as required to production floor to support builds
 Summary of Qualifications:
  •  Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, General Business or High School Diploma and 2-4 years relevant experience.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  •  Ability to analyze information and clearly identify key elements and patterns
  •  Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and manage multiple tasks
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all departments and levels within the company
  •  Ability to lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
  •  Excellent organizational skills 
  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods of time
  •  Ability to operate walkie-stacker and pallet jacks
  •  Effective written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  •  Self-starter that has the ability to work independently and within a team
  •  Excellent analytic, problem solving and decision making skills
