Description
Contract Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for smooth operation of the warehouse. Clerk sends, accepts and records the movement raw materials and finished goods in DOT approved packaged for the chemicals facility. Duties include [1] shipping & receiving of materials and maintaining inventories, [2] loading and unloading packaged material to and from box trailers, [3] monitoring and controlling material flows in & out of facility, [4] staging raw materials for consumption, and [5] miscellaneous tasks such as, housekeeping.

Position duties and responsibilities:
- Primary contact for shipping & receiving of packaged goods
- Follow standard operating procedures
- Prepare items for shipment, including labeling, stenciling and manifest shipping
- Prepare large shipments (cap & band, seal, stage)
- Load & unload box trailers
- Operate hand-truck and HiLo
- Stage large volume raw materials under direction of Coordinator and Supply Chain
- Inbound/Outbound documentation filing
- Maintain physical inventories of raw materials and products
- Create Cispro inventory entries, including labeling and storage locations
- Cycle Counts of Raw material and Finished Goods inventories
- Maintain high level of housekeeping without supervision
- Support as directed by Supply Chain Planner on special projects & process evaluations

Qualifications:
- Must have strong mathematical skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have awareness of chemicals hazards such as, safety & health issues found in SDS
- Must be physically fit to operate manual equipment and lift 30 kgs (60 lbs)
- Ability to work rotating shift
- Ability to drive fork trucks and hand trucks
- Ability to maintain computer records. MS Excel required
- Experience with CisPro and SAP preferred
- Chemical plant experience desired
