  Job Description

High level skillsets in the following technologies will be required:

  • Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 administration
  • Citrix XenApp 6.5 and 7.x
  • Citrix XenDesktop 7.x
  • Windows Desktop OS platform (Win 7, Win 10)
The candidate must possess:
  • Experience in Citrix Administration with both XenApp and XenDektop with multiple sites and farms.
  • Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop. Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.
  • Expert on multiple versions of Citrix and strong experience of Citrix Secure gateway/Web Interface /NetScaler)
  • Strong understanding of Load Manager, Resource manager and installation manager.
  • Printers Management in Citrix
  • Citrix Patch Management and policies configuration
  • Strong knowledge in configuring Mandatory, Roaming and Streaming profile configuration
  • Good troubleshooting skills in Citrix printers, profiles, resource manager’s thresholds, installation manager, Citrix Farm Configuration
  • Windows Active Directory Administration
  • Strong knowledge in managing Citrix farm on VmWare.
  • VB scripting for Citrix
The perspective candidate must also have expertise in:
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in enterprise Citrix environment, Including Web Interface, application enumeration and performance issues, Printing and provisioning issues, for internal and external clients.
  • Planned and executed major migrations to from XenApp 6.5 to XD 7.x including: complete analysis of business needs, application, hardware and security requirements.
  • Application certification, profile setup, and performance evaluation and monitoring.
  • Developing processes and expectations for critical system restoration.
  • Designing and implementation of process improvements including; change management, problem management and root cause analysis, governance scorecard, patch and inventory management, and audit responses.
  • 24X7 on-call, disaster recovery testing, extensive involvement with and training of off-shore user base.
