  Job Description

Ideal candidate is BS degree in biology or related field with any experience in animal tissue handling and pipetting.

The department of PKDM within client is dedicated to the discovery and development of safe and effective medicines by elucidating the absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and pharmacokinetic properties of novel therapeutic drug candidates to improve their pharmacological potential. PKDM works in close partnership with disciplines such as protein science, pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology, and regulatory to engineer promising clinical therapeutic candidates, conduct preclinical development studies, support clinical evaluation and contribute to IND and NDA filings.

  • Prepare tissue samples for bioanalytical quantitation of large molecule protein and oligonucleotide therapeutics by immunoassay in support of drug discovery programs
  • Involve working as a member of the bioanalytical group and being responsible for cutting, weighing, and homogenizing preclinical tissue samples
  • Requires an individual be highly organized and have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment
  • Other responsibilities include communication of results to team members and electronic laboratory notebook keeping of results
Must have:
  1. BS in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, immunology or equivalent
  2. 1 year of animal tissue handling and pipetting (school experience is fine)
  3. Some experience/understanding of bioanalytical quantitation of large molecules, including assay optimization and troubleshooting
