The position will be responsible for contributing to the efficient functioning of the Quality Management department by supporting the management staff and department in on-going monitoring assignments and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
Will also assist the Quality Management team in developing best practices for the coordination, facilitation, and oversight of all State and Federal accreditation activities
Performs special projects, surveys and studies to meet Quality Management unit goals, as assigned by and under the direction of the Quality Management Manager.
Responsible for productivity and timeliness of meeting expected and identified individual work process goals
Participates in internal and external meetings as needed Obtain information, create status reports, respond to inquiries or projects as directed
May serve as liaison/coordinator for special projects to supports DMAHS IPRO Assessment & NCQA needs
Supports Government Programs (GP) goal of improving quality of healthcare for our customers by ongoing monitoring of compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Supports ongoing accreditation activity for all Government Programs lines of business to maintain the highest level of accreditation, including monitoring of standards, conducting gap analysis, and developing action plans to address identified deficiencies.
Creates and manages multiple accreditation project plans with tasks coordinated across departments at all levels of the organization.
Interface with key staff and consultant(s) involved in accreditation survey/audit preparations and on-site survey/audit processes.
