  Job Description

Provides general laboratory support to the Process Development Laboratories. This is a tactical role and the candidate must be detail-oriented and proficient in time management.

  • Work independently and provide metrics by gathering, manipulating, and reporting out data
  • Performing periodic inventory of laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Scientific lab equipment and basic facilities knowledge is a plus: does not require expertise in but a general understanding is ideal
  • Perform general laboratory support functions, such as monitoring laboratory stock supplies, laboratory housekeeping, temperature monitoring charts and documents associated, as needed
  • Support the coordination of disposal of glass, bio-hazard, and chemical waste, as needed
  • Communicate effectively with lab staff/scientists and is conscientious about work completion
  • May assist with special projects as assigned
  • Follows all applicable SOPs and procedures
  • Other attributes include proficiency in Microsoft Office, multi-tasking, a team player, and ability to prioritize tasks assigned
  • Working environment will be 50% in shared office and 50% in between buildings/labs
Qualifications
  • Minimum education requirements with industry experience
  • Bachelors Degree (1 year of industry experience) or Associate/High School Degree (2+ years of industry experience)
  • Must have strong Microsoft Excel experience
  • Must have GMP and inventory experience
Physical Requirements: The overall physical exertion of this position requires:
  • Reach above/below the shoulder, bend at the knees and waist
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Office work activities, including keyboard, with fingers/hands/arms up to 4 hours
  • Work around moving laboratory equipment and machinery
  • Use of personal protective equipment in laboratory
