  Job Description

  • Research claims such as shortages, damages, overages and mis-directed shipments. Confirm validity of claims within company Trade Terms and policies

  • Create Return Authorizations within 3rd party vendor portal

  • Responsible for claims folders within shared mailbox. Provide credit memo’s and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner and in a timely fashion

  • Communicate with Distribution Centers and other internal departments such as Contracts team, Trade Data Management and Order Management, in an effort to ensure accuracy of credits/debits

  • Attach and provide all essential backup and documentation to maintain audit readiness and SOX compliance

  • Process expired returns and work closely with third party vendor

  • Responsible for running reports and process credits or debits within a timely manner

  • Identify and report issues and/or discrepancies and work to resolve and correct root cause

  • Able to manage their own time while attending meetings and maintaining transactional excellence/processing

  • Able to work and manage their time accordingly with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Engage and discuss hot topics during meetings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal departments and vendors
