  Job Description

Responsibilities will include the following:

 

  • Assist Payroll Leadership in daily payroll operations
  • Play a key role in weekly, daily or off-cycle stock option processing
  • Perform reconciliation of stock option cash and settlements
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of Semi-monthly payroll journal entries
  • Participate actively as a member of an integrated Payroll team focused on high quality customer service.
  • Successful use of systems to perform the Company’s core payroll processes.
  • Work in partnership with other team members to ensure policy and procedures are followed.
  • Assist in semi-monthly payroll processing, year-end activities.
  • Respond to routine inquires relating to payroll issues.
  • Assist in processing child support, garnishment and lien deductions as needed
  • Ensure all assigned Reporting is timely and accurately completed
  • Provide Ad Hoc support as needed
  • Answer employee questions regarding their pay
  • Create and validate pay detail
  • Verify accurate output
  • Produce and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Ensure compliance with payroll record retention policies and procedures.
  • Must assist other team members as needed.

 

Skills/Knowledge Required:

 

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent
  • 6+years experience in payroll environment, preferably using Workday software
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • High professional standards regarding internal customer service
  • Must be a team player - A “team mindset “
  • Ability to thrive in a growth-oriented organization and adjust to changing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office skills
  • Must ensure confidentiality of all records and information
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, in some cases, without advance notice.
