  Job Description

This is a Project Management position within a Research and Early Development department of a global pharmaceutical organization developing novel immune-oncology and cellular therapeutics. Reporting to the Research Operations Lead and working closely with the Director of R&ED Alliances, this position will be responsible for effective coordination of meetings and tracking related to department collaborative agreements.

Specific Responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain a comprehensive list of collaborations; status and next milestones/inflection points
  • Manage meeting agendas, distribution of pre-reads; draft and archive meeting minutes and key actions items for R&ED collaboration meetings
  • Track and follow up with internal leads for collaborations for milestone/deliverable updates
  • Schedule meetings with potential and current collaborators and key stakeholders
  • As needed, support Director of Alliances, design and execute setup, transfer of legacy documents to integrated department Research Collaboration folder
  • Assist with coordination of alliance activities between different department stakeholders, e.g. license request
Skills/Knowledge Required:
  • 2+ years of Project Management activities in a research/early development environment. Knowledge of scientific process and/or the pharmaceutical industry, especially Academic research collaborations strongly preferred. Certificate of Project Management is an asset
  • Excellent, planning, verbal/written communication and documentation skills
  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with project management tools such as OnePager and MS Project would be an asset
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking skills productivity, and commitment to execution of responsibilities under tight timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and build strong relationships.
