  Job Description

Ideal candidate will have had experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • This person will need to be customer service focused, will need to know how to deal with confidential information, help with onboarding, support the HR team in a calm and focuses way.
  • Will need to run reports and manage logistics for meetings.
  • Processes PO’s for office supplies and expense reports as requested.
  • Acts as a resource to organize a variety of events or company sponsored activities as needed.
  • Provides logistics and administrative support to HR and Training staff for on-boarding programs for contingent workforce.
  • Assist the local Occupational Health/EHS team for onsite testing activities including scheduling and employee communications.
  • Interfaces with Talent Acquisition Partners (Recruiters) to post contingent labor job openings, coordinate interview scheduling and communicate next steps.
  • Assists HR team with creating and maintaining dashboard metrics from Excel data as needed to support business leaders.
  • Partners with Site Director’s administrative assistant as back-up support as required.
  • Supports various programs as directed by Business Human Resources Partner.
Your required experience(s), education and knowledge:
  • Ability to plan and prioritize responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information is essential.
  • High School diploma.
  • 0-3 year’s administrative/ coordination experience in Human Resources or Training support in a corporate environment
  • Strong computer skills using MS products, particularly Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess strong organization and communication skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with associates at all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptability to a frequently changing work environment.
Your preferred qualifications and education:
  • HR Systems Experience; preferably SAP and Workday.
  • AA or BA.
  • This position needs to be based in Lake County, IL.
  • Requires 6-12 months commitment.
