The resource will primarily be remote however candidate may have to go onsite in Wilmington DE to attend team/dept meetings.

Regional Project Lead for a global manufacturing accounting project, where the key objective is to improve and standardise the end-to-end manufacturing accounting processes, delivering more granular level of details to enable better decision making. Reporting to the Global Deployment Lead, you’ll be the bridge between the Programme and the business, using your exceptional communication skills to work between key stakeholders, team members, external partners to ensure the delivery of project roadmap and its deliverables. The role will:

  • Act as the single point of contact for the Global Deployment Lead and build an effective working relationship with the Stakeholders
  • Ensure identified benefits are delivered to the business by the Programme and delivery of new capability is compatible with the planned realisation of benefits
  • Ensure that maximum improvements are made in existing and new business operations as the project delivers into operational use
  • Plan and manage regional deployment activities; taking the lead on transition management, ensuring that business as usual is maintained during the transition and the changes are effectively integrated into the business; oversee regional integration activities, cutover activities and testing activities
  • Preparing affected business areas for transition to new ways of working and act as a regional escalation point for project issues
  • Optimising the timing of the release of project deliverables into business operations
  • Managing a team to create and implement the necessary communications, training and policy/documentation plans
  • Prioritise requests, resources and deliverables throughout the solution implementation life cycle
  • Identify, manage and resolve dependencies, risks and issues, which could affect the successful delivery
  • Provide management reporting on the regional delivery status of the project. Regularly review and report on:
    • Project milestones
    • Challenges
    • Key accomplishments
  • Achieve successful sign off and handover to post implementation support function, ensuring all projects are handed over fully to BAU organisations
  • Manage highly diverse activities, multiples stakeholder groups, significant scope, schedule and resources to ensure support for the business units running SAP
  • Bring together your cross-functional skills and strengths in business analysis, problem solving and team coaching to constantly search for improvements
Education, Qualification, Skills and Experience
  • Proven track record in delivering large strategic projects in business transformation with a hands-on approach, across different national and business boundaries
  • Deep knowledge of software, SAP and BI, development projects and delivery in dynamic environments
  • Broad deployment experience (development, management and application of)
  • Significant work experience in IT, Finance and Operations functional area
  • Specific Expert knowledge in specialist process area
