  Job Description

  • Work with IT Business Partner (ITBP), Digital Capability Manager (DCM), and Global Biospecimen and Imaging Management (GBSIM) group to complete Enterprise Analysis in support of project justification and planning.
  • Interview GBSIM SME’s to understand current state process and technology.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Work with technical lead and IT Business Partner to define a future state
    • Capture detailed requirements & use cases arranged by common needs across domains
    • Develop business case for approval by IT
    • Develop plan for full implementation
    • Work with ITBP and DCM to estimate implementation costs
    • Work with stakeholders to identify qualitative improvements and calculate quantitative benefits of implementing proposed system
    • Contribute to Project planning activities

Skills Required:

  • At least 7+years of prior experience working as a dedicated business analyst on large and/or complex projects in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Outgoing personality; self-starter able to work interactively and independently with stakeholders.
  • Versed in Clinical Biospecimen management, clinical sample management, and clinical trial process.
  • Experience as a business analyst on a large scale COTS project, bespoke development project, and/or combination of both (impacting 100+ Users across multiple domains).
  • Proficiency in business requirement elicitation from scientific stakeholders
  • Expertise in creating:
    • “as is” and “to be” process flows
    • Current state data flows
    • System overviews
    • Future state conceptual technology design
  • Experience with formal SDLC practices, emphasis on Analysis & Design stages.
  • Proven ability in gathering, tracing, and managing complex requirements, business rules, and data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including technical writing / documentation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, physical sciences, life sciences, or statistics.
  • Business Analysis certification is a plus.

Must Have Skills:

  • 6+ years of Business Analyst experience in the R&D Biopharma Space
  • 3+ of Clinical Information Systems/Technology
  • 6+ Years of Business Requirements Documentation
  • 6+ years of requirements gathering
  • 3+ years of Business Case proposal
