Must be flexible to work for West and Mountain Time Zones

  • 50% travel involved after covid situation is over.
  • National outcomes liaison, medical outcomes, pharmacy director, medical director with required experience would be a good fit
  • Having a health economics degree is not needed
  • Nurse educator would be a good fit but would need a advance degree and experience and background
  • Would like someone with diabetes exp
  • Need health economics experience
  • Nursing or Nurse practitioner with required experience would also work

  • The position has functional responsibility for payer interactions, including presentation of health economic data and medical value assessments.
  • The Medical Outcomes Manager will act as the primary liaison for the division with national and regional payers.
  • The Medical Outcomes Manager will also provide medical and scientific support to regional health care organizations and affiliated networks
Major Responsibilities:
  • Minimum three years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device outcomes work
  • Participates in payer, industry, and governmental meetings.
  • Leads payer advisory boards and liaises with key payers on generating ideas for future product/device development, expanded reimbursement of existing products/devices, and scientific communication of medical value of current products.
  • Responsible for national and regional payer interactions, including medical and scientific support for discussions and collaborations
  • Responsible for medical and scientific support for discussions with PBMs and government organizations (i.e., Department of Defense, VA)
  • Supports Market Access with medical review of communications and advises primary market access personnel regarding features, benefits and medical value of products.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.
  • Education and Minimum Experience: Scientific background with minimum of Master’s degree (prefer PharmD or PhD) with proficiency in health economics.
  • Established relationships with regional and national payers, PBMs, and government organizations preferred Acts as primary contact for ADC with external payers on a national basis.
  • Reports directly to the Regional Director, US/Canada Medical Affairs and will use appropriate judgment on which situations require discussion and guidance.
  • Strategy and diplomacy are required because of frequent and ongoing involvement with payers and medical professionals.
  • Erroneous decisions will have a long-term effect on the company’s success, goodwill and reputation.
