  Job Description

Seeking Case Management/Technical Support for our client to review new and existing oil-to-gas conversion and service requests including:

  • Completing service layouts
  • Maintaining telephone and email communication with customers that communicate with the departments
  • Involved in projects concerning the Company’s Main Replacement Program, scheduling the cut & cap of old services
  • Assisting in managing the jobs that require a bypass payment
  • Assisting in the “triage” process to classify the work request type and will distribute the new request to the team.
  • Reviewing the requests assigned to him/her for accuracy and submit the request to Gas Engineering for review
  • Communicating with external departments as relevant to the customer’s conversion.

The Case Manager will also be required to issue service layouts based upon the service determinations completed by Gas Engineering.  This process includes but is not limited to:

  • Ensure the issuance of service layouts as stipulated in the requirements of the department’s KPI’s
  • Review the service determination provided by Gas Engineering for accuracy
  • Utilize the service layout template and determine the applicable language based on information provided in the ruling
  • Size correctly for the meter and regulator based on the customer’s submitted load.
  • Submit Gas Information Design forms as needed for elevated pressure request. These service layouts come in a template format that will be provided to the case manager
  • Work on projects and have the ability to use our Project Wise System, ability to read maps, utilize our Customer Information System to obtain proper customer contact information and to review specific borough Property Records.

The Case Manager will be expected to use software applications & specifications that will be provided to them. Such software applications include:

  • Byers (Gas Operations Infrastructure and Mapping Programs)
  • Visions mapping system
  • Mains & Service plates
  • Customer Project Management System (CPMS)

The Case Manager will also refer to applicable specifications as needed to validate service sizing and provide meter and regulator sizing.

Position Requirements:

  • Manage conversion requests from conception to completion
  • Ensure all data has been collected from customer/ plumber
  • Ensure company information is given to customer
  • Handle all inquiries for oil to gas conversion cases
  • Liaise between customer and various internal departments
  • Provide exemplary customer service to execute oil to gas conversion
  • Provide customer with their case status
  • Communicate with customers regularly have them meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Tableau and other query based programs
  • Knowledge of the business – gas knowledge or case management
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • College degree preferred or a minimum of 5 year experience
  • Engineering degree is highly preferred
