  Job Description

The Assistant Distribution Specialist (ADS) supports Medicinal Sciences Clinical Supply Logistics colleagues with daily administrative tasks, processing or tracking logistics operations in systems, and executing various specific tasks.

Standard tasks are outlined below and these can vary based on the needs of specific projects:

• Management Global Vendor Receipt and Inventory Management e-mailbox activities
• Monitor and track logistics transactions through their lifecycle, including routine milestone updates within established scheduling systems
• Review GMP system data and corresponding documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Reporting and escalation of abnormalities in system or documentation to accountable contacts
• Creation, maintenance, and close out of scheduling records to ensure stakeholder visibility to current status
• Aggregation, upload and maintenance of documentation into system, GDMS
• Support order generation and execution within systems, scheduling tools, and necessary documentation
• Filing completed e-mail correspondences in the appropriate public Outlook folders and/or systems
• Processing miscellaneous shipment order requests and tracking to delivery
• Assist with tracking between logistics partners and Digital groups to ensure the consistent delivery of logistics order data for tracking purposes
• Liaise directly with Sandwich and Groton Inventory Management in order to process logistics activities
• Assist and support EVIM in resolving any issues that may occur with any logistics activities
• Facilitate receipts of prerequisite documentation such as CofC, QP Release notes at vendors
