ISOS (Infrastructure Services & Operations Support) is a central organization of technical program managers that supports multiple data center and engineering teams that build and operate private cloud infrastructure, which is one of the largest cloud systems in the world. We support product development across a variety of areas such as infrastructure capacity demand & supply management, data center maintenance, server & network repair, construction project controls, power management etc.
As a program manager, you will be working with various teams within FB Infrastructure that oversee operations within our data centers. This role’s mission is to build a complete and accurate understanding of project scope, convert the scope into execution plan, manage project schedules, identify risks & associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to the stakeholders.
We are looking for technical project managers who have a strong technical foundation and are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Develop schedules, identify critical path dependencies, and maintain execution throughout the duration of partner programs
• Coordinate the planning and scoping of the multiple projects with other program managers and technical leads
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Effectively communicate project statuses
• Ensure project documents and regular updates are complete/current and available for program managers and leadership review
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
